Author Guidelines

Presubmission Inquiries

JFOPA allows authors who are interested in submitting work for potential publication to send a presubmission inquiry before any formal manuscript submission. Presubmission inquiries should include the abstract of the manuscript. Presubmission inquiries should be sent by e-mail to the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Eugene Oks ([email protected]).

Submissions

The initial submission should be either in the docx- or pdf-formats. The final submission should be in the docx-format. In the near future, submissions in LaTex will also be accepted, but not now.

References

There are two choices, as follows.

1. In the text, works could be referred to by the author(s) last name(s) and the year of publication, e.g., Smith (2025), or Mason and Jackson (2024), or Whelan et al (2023). In the list of references, the works should be presented in the alphabetical order of the last names of the first author.

2. In the text, works could be referred to by [number] or by the last name(s) and [number]. In the list of references, the works should be presented with the corresponding numbers in the order they are sited in the text.

   In any of the above two cases, in the list of references, the year of publication should be entered after the author(s) name(s) before the title of the journal or the book. The book titles should be shown in italics.
